MOTs

A Ministry of Transport test is required annually for any vehicle that is over 3 years old. The test essentially proves that your car is safe and environmentally friendly so that it is legal to drive. A valid MOT certificate is also required when renewing your road tax licence, so it is important that your car passes the test.

Here at Livingston Autocare, we are an approved MOT specialist garage with fully qualified technicians that are trained to the highest level. Our state of the art facilities and professional testers ensure that each legal requirements is met when checking your vehicle, whether it is class 4 or class 7.

To avoid any problems in the future, we only fit parts from the most reliable and trusted suppliers, in turn ensuring your repairs and replacements are of the highest standard. Our team will also advise you of anything that may be of concern in the near future, recommending anything that could need fixed before your next MOT. This allows peace of mind for the customer and keeps them aware of any possible issues.

While your vehicle is being tested you can also enjoy a nice hot or cold drink. Why not have your vehicle serviced too? This is a perfect time to have it checked, ensuring it will run smoothly for as long as possible – also avoiding extra time and money in the future!
